GeoIP.dat | Suitable for Apache v2.4 module »mod_geoip«
and as well as for the Webalizer log analyser application

The legacy GeoIP geolocation database : the regularly updated GeoIP.dat database for IPv4 adresses only. Sufficiently enough to check and download once a week or month.

Has to be copied into the file folder : /usr/share/GeoIP

Use the terminal command mkdir to create within Linux the propiate and specific directory.

root@raspberry:/home/user# chown root:root /usr/share/GeoIP

GeoDB.dat | Suitable for Webalizer log analyser

The Webalizer GeoDB geolocation database : this package contains the Webalizer GeoDB geolocation database file GeoDB.dat . This database allows the Webalizer to perform geographical location lookups for both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

At the moment the internet domain mrunix.net/ is not reachable.

So, since the Septembre 2021 no update is available.

Never mind and don't worry. The Webalizer also is fully functional with the latest GeoIP.dat database. Please find above one of the recent versions.

Webalizer v2.23.08 source code & language packs

Since Sep 2021 the server ftp://ftp.mrunix.net/pub/webalizer/ is down.

Current stable version: 2.23-08. Read the documentation. Usage and configuration information can be found in the README file, which is about as close to a user manual as there currently is. You can also look at the sample configuration file which provides additional information and configuration examples. The DNS.README file provides information on how to use the built in DNS lookup capability and gives some tips on using the »wcmgr« Webalizer (DNS) Cache file Manager program. Installation information and help can be found in the INSTALL document.

The stand-alone server executable. Windward comes with a dedicated server executable called »WWServer.exe«. This is the only file you need to actually host the dedicated private or public Windward game server. https://www.tasharen.com/windward

Linux : WWServer.exe requires the Mono 2.0 .NET framework to work properly.
